Household Wizard
How do I sync my data across devices?
Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on each device and that iCloud Drive is turned on. Household Wizard syncs automatically in the background — there's nothing to set up inside the app itself.
How do I share my household with someone else?
Open Share Household… in the More/Finances menu (once you've shared, it's called Household Sharing…) and invite them. Inviting is done from Mac or iPad; the person you invite can accept on Mac, iPad, or iPhone. On iPad this opens the system share sheet; on Mac it gives you a link to copy and send yourself. Once shared, everyone sees and can edit the same data. See the How To screen inside the app for more detail.
Does everyone in my household need to buy Household Wizard?
Yes — each person needs their own copy from the App Store. Sharing a household doesn't cost anything extra, but it doesn't share a purchase either: the invitation link takes a new person to the App Store if they don't have the app yet. Questions about getting a copy for someone in your household? Email info@bluecrestcreative.com.
How do I import data from another finance app?
Go to Import CSV in the More/Finances menu, choose your exported file, and pick the app it came from (Quicken, QuickBooks Online, YNAB, or Mint) if you know it, so column detection matches. Review the preview before confirming the import.
How does Debt Payoff decide what order to pay off debt?
It ranks your credit card and loan accounts by interest rate, highest first (the "debt avalanche" method), based on the rates and minimum payments you enter for each account. It's a calculator over your own numbers, not financial or credit-counseling advice — for guidance specific to your situation, consider talking to a certified financial advisor or a nonprofit credit counselor.
Why is my report showing $0.00?
Reports only total transactions dated inside the selected Range (This Month, Last Month, Year to Date, and so on). If you just imported older data, switch the Range to Year to Date or a Custom range that covers those dates.
Sync seems stuck. What do I do?
If iCloud sync has trouble for an extended stretch, Household Wizard will let you know and point you at Settings > Sync Recovery, which can rebuild the local cache to get things moving again. Your data is backed up to a file you choose first, automatically, before anything is touched — nothing is ever deleted from iCloud. In rare cases this comes from a real limitation in Apple's own iCloud sharing framework, not something we can fully control — it happens more often to households actively sharing than to solo use. If Sync Recovery rebuilds the cache and something from just before is still missing, Settings > Sync Recovery > Restore Missing Data can bring it back from the backup without re-entering it by hand.
How do I turn on App Lock?
Go to Settings — under the Household Wizard menu on Mac, or the More menu on iPad/iPhone — and turn on Require Face ID, Touch ID, or Passcode. This requires your device to have Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode already set up.
Why can't I find Reports or Budgeting on my iPhone?
The iPhone app is a light companion for checking balances and adding transactions on the go. Reports, Budgeting, Debt Payoff, Net Worth, Reconciliation, CSV Import, Backup, and setting up household sharing are on Mac and iPad. Everything you enter syncs across all of your devices, so nothing is ever out of reach.
Can I get my data out, or delete everything?
Yes. On Mac or iPad, go to Backup in the More/Finances menu. Export Backup saves a complete file of your accounts, transactions, categories, payees, and net worth data that you can save or share. To delete everything, delete an account directly from the sidebar, or delete the app itself, which also removes its local data.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email info@bluecrestcreative.com with a description of what happened and, if possible, your device model and OS version.
Trivia Huddle
How do I play on my TV?
Connect your iPhone or iPad to an Apple TV or AirPlay-enabled TV using Control Center's Screen Mirroring, then start a game — the scoreboard and questions will appear on the big screen automatically while your device shows the normal game controls.
My saved game disappeared. What happened?
Saved games are stored only on your device. Deleting the app, or restoring your device from a backup made before the save existed, will remove them.
How do I share my results to Instagram Stories?
On the results screen at the end of a game, tap Share to Instagram Stories. The Instagram app will open directly to its Story editor with your score card already loaded as the background — from there it works just like any other Story: add stickers or text, then tap Your Story to post, and switch back to Trivia Huddle when you're done.
The first time you do this, iOS may show a system prompt asking "Allow Instagram to Paste from Trivia Huddle?" — tap Allow. This is a standard iOS privacy prompt for sharing images between apps; if you tap Don't Allow, Instagram will open but your card won't appear. This feature requires the Instagram app to be installed.

JobsPaid
How do I sync my data across devices?
Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on each device and that iCloud Drive is turned on (iPhone Settings > [your name] > iCloud). JobsPaid syncs automatically in the background — there's nothing to set up inside the app itself.
How do I add my payment link?
Go to Settings > Business Profile inside JobsPaid and paste a payment link you've created yourself — for example, a Stripe Payment Link or a PayPal.me URL. It will appear as a Pay button on your invoices.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Subscription inside JobsPaid and tap Manage Subscription, or go to your iPhone's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
Can I get my data out, or delete everything?
Yes. Go to Settings > Data & Export inside JobsPaid. "Export My Data" creates CSV files of your clients, invoices, and expenses that you can save or share. "Delete All Local Data" permanently erases everything on your device and from your iCloud sync.
How do I see a summary of what I've billed and collected?
Open the Dashboard tab — the first tab in the app. It shows what you've billed, collected, and spent for This Month, This Quarter, or This Year, plus what's still outstanding right now.
Can I reuse an invoice or estimate for a repeat client?
Yes. Open the invoice or estimate you want to reuse and tap the Duplicate icon in the toolbar. JobsPaid creates a new draft with the same client, line items, and notes already filled in, ready to adjust and send.
How do I get a summary for tax season?
Go to Settings > Data & Export inside JobsPaid, pick a year under Tax Summary, and share the generated PDF — a rollup of income (from invoices marked Paid) and expenses by category, ready to hand to an accountant or keep for your own records.
